It's not hard to see why Democrats would be more eager than Republicans to see a woman elected president in 2016, not given the likely candidates from each party. But according to Pew, there's
not just a gap but a gulf between Democrats and Republicans on whether they want to see a woman elected president in their entire lifetimes:
Yes, Democratic men are more than twice as likely as Republican women to say they'd like to see a woman in the White House during their lifetimes. There are two main possibilities here: Republican voters are just as sexist as their party leaders or that's just how terrifying Hillary Clinton is.
